Once you join the Synovate Consumer Opinion Panel (it's free), Synovate sends you an e-mail when a survey is available. This e-mail will contain instructions on how to access the survey and details about the rewards you can win if you complete the survey. It's always up to you to decide if you'd like to take the survey. If not, there isn't a penalty.

You take each survey whenever it's convenient. Most surveys take around 10 minutes to finish. You can even pause in the middle of a survey and come back later, picking up right where you left off. Since most surveys are only available for a limited time, though, you should try to complete them as quickly as possible.

Sometimes, Synovate may invite you to test a product or service, or participate in a research project conducted by phone or in person. Your participation in these studies is always voluntary as well.

Once in a while, Synovate offers more lengthy survey opportunities. If you participate in these, they will provide you with extra rewards for your time and effort.
